Seattle Youth Conference

• Conversation and conduct should follow the Godly principles found in the scriptures:

  • “Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” (1 Tim 4:12)

  • “But as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct.” (1 Pet 1:15)

  • “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” (Phil 4:8)

• Prompt attendance is required at all scheduled activities unless the activity is marked as “optional.”

• Clothing worn should show respect for God, ourselves, and each other (Rom 12:2; 1 Pet 3:3-4). All clothing should be modest, tidy, and appropriate (i.e. NO low-cut tops, leggings worn as pants, exposed midriffs, spaghetti straps, short-shorts, sagging pants, pajamas, etc.; skirts/dresses must reach the knee; nothing tight or see-through; NO worldly slogans/graphics). Appropriate meeting attire should be worn for all classes and the memorial service.

• The memorial service will be conducted and fellowship invited on the basis of the understanding contained in the Birmingham Amended Statement of Faith.

• Sisters should wear a head-covering to all classes and the memorial meeting.

​

• The possession or use of tobacco, alcohol, and drugs is absolutely prohibited at all times (1 Cor 6:19-20).

​

• All electronics (phones, tablets, laptops, etc) may only be used for Bible study purposes - NO games, worldly music, etc. PLEASE LEAVE YOUR AIRPODS/EARBUDS/HEADPHONES/ETC AT HOME.

• Attendees must remain with the main group at all times unless express permission is given by the camp coordinators (Heb 10:24-27).

 

• Any damage or needed repair must be reported immediately.
